Pre-course: Creative Movement for Children (Garcia-Plevin Method)

Discover his body through lightness, speed, ground, gravity, space, strength? And why not! With the Creative Movement GP method, the body is at the center of learning. It is a fun, imaginative way to become aware of all the possibilities of his gestures. This develops the relationship to the other, the group, socialization in laughter, body language.

Interested? So do not hesitate to participate with your group at this experience of Creative Movement method GP. Let me guide you through this fabulous adventure of creativity in motion.

A discovery of foreign language through the body. Learning related to body movements, using music, imagination, pleasure, laughter, space. Teach with the rhythm new sounds, letters or words and create phrases. Each day there is an opportunity to start a movement with another quality, another point in the space, another rhythm. Children are spontaneous, unpredictably creative; they like to play with the body.

Interested? So do not hesitate to participate with your class at this meeting of Creative Movement GP method. Let's try to teach in another way, to put the child's body at the center of learning.

The theater is your matter? Text to learn by heart? Interpreting credible, living characters? I propose a new approach by the body. Become aware of the scenic space, the strength or lightness of his character, the range of his voice through the movement. Add nuances, credibility to its interpretation.

Unbelievable ?! So ready to try this experience? Come with your theater class to taste the novelty with the Creative Movement GP method. Time to invent each new character but together! Creativity is a muscle, train it and use it.

Always remember that creativity is a process, not a product. A
process that is a way of life!

Authentic Movement Course - Developing Awareness of One’s Own Experience

Date: April 20-23, 2017

Place:Shanghai

Description

This course will focus on the recognition, acknowledgement, and exploration of one’s own impulses to move. Through the use of Authentic Movement and other improvisation exercises, students will be encouraged to explore their impulses, needs, and demands; and how to recognize them as they arise. Through participation in class movement exercises, class members will begin to examine both interpersonal and intrapersonal aspects of moving. Through this approach students will be introduced to the work of understanding and integrating movement, sensation, and emotion.
